The Cease & Desist

Bin, what's the meaning of this? ██████ is our biggest source of funding! We can't just stop mentioning them! If we're not even allowed to write their names on checks we're done! WHAT DID YOU DO?!

Angry Jim

Ok, I understand, calm down. I may or may not have said their daughter looks like “an alien cat.” To be fair, I did not know that they were, in fact, actually aliens. Nor did I know that on their planet, “cat” means something absolutely unspeakable. Ok, it's actually really speakable, kinda funny too, it means ████ ██████ ██ ████████████████

Bin Folks, Administrator

Within his first few years as administrator, Bin Folks managed to upset the ACF's most notable patrons— causing them to pen what is now simply known by personnel of high and low rank alike as “The Cease & Desist.” This was arguably the key that led to the foundation's lack of funding, and thus, the creation of the APRA program.

A Tricky Job

Due to the foundation's archival policies, and especially considering the importance of The Cease & Desist, archives of the incident and the document itself must remain. However, legally, the foundation can no longer mention ██████, ████, ██████████, █████, their history, or their assets. As such, any archives related to The Cease & Desist are filled with various personnel attempting to get around the limitations in creative fashions.

Embarrassment

To this day, Bin receives the occasional jab or joke at his expense— referring to The Cease & Desist. On one such occasion, much to Bin's delight, his assailant said ██████ out loud, and was promptly fired, and sued for everything he was worth.

How did they know?! They weren't even there!
